CASHMEARE CREST BEAUTY · STAGE 2/3 PLANT

The Foundation Factory

Two engineered lines under one roof: a high-shear vacuum emulsion line for the transfer-proof foundation and Viole, and an explosion-proof pneumatic line for Sue Noir and Sue Rouge. Specs from the Section 17 blueprint.

Foundation process flow

Raw drums (lot-logged)→Phase vessels 75°C→Vacuum homogenizer 3,200 RPM→Cool-down 30°C + QC→Piston filler 30 ml→CIJ coding + labeling→Shrink-wrap + pallet
Foundation lineF-1

Vacuum emulsifying homogenizer

Tears oil droplets to sub-micron size so the water-in-silicone emulsion never splits on the shelf, and pulls vacuum so air never froths or oxidizes the iron-oxide shades.

Batch size100–500 L
Homogenizer power5.5–11 kW high-shear stator/rotor
Shear speed3,000+ RPM (process: 3,200 RPM)
Anchor / scraperCounter-rotating Teflon scrapers, 45 RPM in process, 30 RPM cool-down
Vacuum−0.09 MPa rated (process: −0.08 MPa)
Process hold20 min at 75°C under deep vacuum
DischargeCool to 30°C, 100 ml QC pull, pump to airtight stainless totes
Foundation lineF-2

Dual-jacketed phase vessels

Oil/silicone phase and aqueous phase are heated separately to the exact same temperature before being drawn into the homogenizer.

HeatingSteam/oil jacket to 75–80°C
CoolingChilled-water jacket to set emulsion
Phase AIsododecane + D5 + TMS resin, 400 → 1,500 RPM pigment slurry, 30 min
Phase BDI water + butylene glycol + NaCl stabilizer at 75°C
Foundation lineF-3

Pneumatic piston filler

Thick foundation won't flow by gravity — air-driven pistons dose an exact 30 ml every time.

TypeSemi-automatic volumetric rotary-valve piston
NozzlesAnti-drip
Fill30 ml into frosted glass pump bottles
Perfume lineP-1

ATEX / Class I Div 1 blending tanks

High-proof alcohol vapour is explosive. Every motor and wire is spark-free — cast-iron housed or air-driven.

CertificationATEX / Class I Division 1
DrivePneumatic (air motors), no open electrics
Material316L stainless, mirror-polished interior
CompoundingSDA 40-B at 200 RPM, oils added slowly, 45 min
MacerationSealed dark tanks, 15°C, 3–6 weeks
Perfume lineP-2

Sub-zero chilling & 0.22-micron filtration

Freezes out plant waxes and insolubles so Sue Noir and Sue Rouge stay crystal clear even in a cold winter delivery truck.

ChillingGlycol-refrigerated jacketed tank, −4°C to 0°C (process: −2°C)
PressPlate-and-frame filter press
Filter rating0.22 micron
OutputBrilliant clear fluid direct to filling
Perfume lineP-3

Vacuum gravity filler + crimp line

Fills to exact neck height regardless of glass variation, then seals the spray collar permanently.

Fill head4-nozzle vacuum gravity
CrimperPneumatic collet, ~400 kg localized force
SealAluminium spray collar

Plant standard

cGMP / ISO 22716: seamless epoxy floors, stainless work surfaces, positive-pressure HEPA HVAC, raw-material lot tracking, FDA facility registration (FEI) within 60 days of production. Equipment figures are planning specs until machinery distributor quotes land; Stage 1 stays co-packer-based.
